Lynton & Lynmouth: 
Two villages on the coast, one above the other, Lynton and Lynmouth where known by the Victorians as Little SwitzerlandLynton is an attractive village with a museum and good range of restaurants, cafes, tea shops and ‘art/craft’ shops. The town hall is very grand and is home to the Visitor Centre. 600 feet below Lynton is the small harbour of Lynmouth.  The two villages are linked by a famous and ingenious cliff railway which is well worth a ride (extra cost).

Visit the famous Dartington Crystal they have been handcrafting their range of English crystal products in our factory in Devon since 1967 – the only major crystal factory in the UK. The Visitors Centre, see and hear the fascinating story of over 40 years of Dartington Crystal then follow the Timeline from 1967 to present day and see how the first pieces of glass were made in our museum section. Watch our talented expert Master Engraving demonstration create award winning works of Art;  You can watch the live demonstrationof glass making and try the many hands-on activities they have to offer. (demonstrations at extra cost) 
Nestled in a Devon Valley, Rosemoor blends formal and informal plantings to magical effect. Welcome to RHS Garden Rosemoor. Our Devon garden is rich in horticultural heritage and could be said to have two faces: one designed more recently by the RHS and the other created over time. As a visitor, you will experience the newest areas first, beginning with the multi-faceted Formal Garden and then the Stream Field and Lake to the north. These in turn lead toward the South West and Devon Orchards and the very popular Fruit and Vegetable Garden. Walking through the Underpass you discover the contrasting original garden of Lady Anne Berry, which consists of many garden ‘rooms’ that blend seamlessly into one.
