Day 1

 Travel to Strasbourg for our overnight stay at the Mercure Strasbourg on a half board basis.

Day 2

Basel

We arrive at Basel and board our ship the MS Viva Moments. Ms Viva Moments boasts a Riverside & Bistra restaurant, fitness centre, small pool & putting green on the sun deck.
 All cabins on this Premium ship are perfectly equipped with a flat screen tv, included mini bar, hairdryer, safe, air-con, walk in shower.

Day 3

Breisach – Strasbourg

We arrive early morning in Breisach a picturesque town on the Upper Rhine.
Experience the fairytale charm of Alsace on a trip to Colmar – a city where history, culture and beauty blend harmoniously. From Breisach, the journey takes you through idyllic vineyards and villages across the border into France. In Colmar, you will discover the romantic old town with its narrow alleyways, colourful half-timbered houses and flower-decorated canals with a local guide. (coach & walking tour)

Day 4

Strasbourg

Discover Strasbourg’s unique blend of tradition and modernity on a panoramic coach tour combined with a guided city walk. Starting right from the ship, this excursion begins with a scenic drive past many of the city’s most iconic sights . After the drive, we continue on foot through the historic city centre. The walk includes a stop at the Barrage Vauban, a 17th-century covered bridge and former defensive structure. Along the route, you’ll see elegant squares, historic façades, and architectural highlights that tell the story of this vibrant European city.) You’ll then have time to explore the surrounding area on your own. Finally, your guide will accompany you to the bus, which will take you back to the ship.

Day 5

Mannheim – Heidelberg

We arrive in the morning into Mannheim where the Rhine borders the city of squares, with its vast baroque palace, modern architecture and historical attractions. Our coach and Guide take us to Heidelberg this most picturesque cities in Germany with its majestic castle ruins a charming old town. After a scenic coach ride your tour begins in the Heidelberg castle, on a guided walk explore the impressive ruins castle courtyard and gardens with a panoramic terrace offering breathtaking views of the Neckar Valley and the city below. One special highlight is the Great Barrel the world’s largest wine barrel in the historic cellar. A guided leisurely walk through Heidelberg’s Old town.

Day 6

Rudesheim

We have a free morning in Rudesheim to explore the Drosselgasse area in the heart of the old town before re-joining the ship before lunch to sail to Koblenz.
 We arrive at 15.30 and are docked for the evening

Day 7

Koblenz – Cologne – Amsterdam

We depart Koblenz in the morning to arrive in Cologne at lunch time.
Enjoy Cologne on a Rickshaw Tour. Your personal drivers and guides will show you the vibrant city of Cologne and let you experience the “Cathedral City” up close. Discover Roman, medieval, and modern Cologne with them. Your guides will pick you up at the ship and take you not only to classic sights like the cathedral and the love locks on the Hohenzollern Bridge, but also to one of the most outstanding art treasures of Roman antiquity and into the historic Old Town. Along the Rhine, you’ll find small houses and narrow alleys that offer both visitors and locals a unique historic atmosphere. Passing the old warehouses, you’ll roll through the Butter and Fish Markets, experiencing Cologne’s 2,000-year-old history. Look for the Kallendresser at the Old Market and pick up your portion of luck at Tünnes & Schäl. Just sit back, relax, let the rickshaw take you for a ride, and discover the most beautiful corners of the Old Town

Day 8

Amsterdam

We have the morning at leisure on-board before arriving in Amsterdam at lunchtime. We have the afternoon to explore the sights of the city, the network of canals to world class museums and galleries with our guided city tour of Amsterdam.(coach & walking tour)

Day 9

After breakfast we depart for our journey home
