The Metropole Hotel & Spa in Llandrindod. Built in 1896 the Metropole Hotel, Welsh Hotel and spa was originally the largest hotel in Wales upon completion. Still privately owned by Justin Baird-Murray, Great Great Grandson of the founder, The Metropole Hotel and Spa, remains the highest AA rated hotel and spa in mid Wales and provides the perfect venue for a wedding, conference or a short break in wales.

30th Dec.
We make our way to Llandrindod Wells for our New Year break. On arrival we are offered tea and Welshcakes. After our evening meal we are entertained by a choir followed by a disco.

New Years Eve.
After breakfast this morning you have the option of Included Tour to of the local area. There will be reception drinks from 6pm followed by a five course Gala dinner. Around 9pm there will be a disco to take us to Midnight and a glass of Champagne to toast in the New Year. (Black tie Optional)

New Years Day.
This morning there will be a Brunch available between 9am and 11am. Free time for the rest of the day to explore the area or just relax in the hotel

2nd Jan.
Today after breakfast we leave for home until next year.

Tour of the Elan Valley : The Elan Valley Reservoirs are a chain of man-made lakes created from damming the Elan and Claerwen rivers within the Elan Valley. The lovely Elan valley has five lakes Caban Coch, Garreg-Ddu, Pen-y-Garreg, Craig-Goch and the more recent Claerwen reservoir.

Day off in resort
